Food was great and the service was good. Unfortunately they got greedy and charged us £ 6.00 for a 250ml wine so we won't be going back. We eat out every week and have never been charged that much.

The food and staff are fantastic. We go back time and time again and each time it is excellent. What a brilliant night out.

Have visited El Toro Loco many times and always have the most gorgeous food! Love the prawns in garlic, meat balls and chicken in red wine/cream. Friendly staff and great value for money.

My cousin and I go there all the time and always have the Royal Rioja which is great. I love chorizo in wine and their chicken livers just melt in the mouth. We always manage to squeeze in a dessert and finish off with a liquer. What could be grander !!!Excellent VFM and such a friendly atmosphere too. Highly recommended. Great for girly nights out.

Food was superb - don't miss the chicken with red wine and cream sauce which is lush. Service and atmosphere good - decent VFM also.

The food at El Toro is very good - better than the Tapas I have had in much of Spain. The service is good and the vfm is good. Recommended.

Excellent food and vfm. Our son age 7 eats with us there and made to feel very welcome. Zorza is superb as is squid, prawn pil pil and spanish omelette. Infact never had a dodgy dish.

After reading a very good review on another site, I took my husband and my parents along for what turned out to be a lovely night. The tapas selection was excellant and I was pleased to see a veggie section too. The service was good, atmosphere lively and decor authentic. On the slightly less positive side the chorizo was quite hard, the clearance of dishes was a little slow and there isn't a non smoking area. All in all we will be returning because we did enjoy the food.

PS Have never tasted anchovies that were so tasty.
