while unassuming from the outside this restaurant is impressive from the moment you walk through the door. Our waiter was excellent: attentive, polite and understated. The turkish beer is delicious and the food is of such high quality that it truly blew us away.

The laminated menus don't prepare you for the well presented and delicious food described. The mussels were a particular treat although everything we ate was superb.

I will definitely return before to Foxes and might even offer to design them a menu more befitting the quality of the food and service offered!

Foxes Brasserie is in my top ten restraunts. Staff are always friendly, the atmosphere is dazzling and the food is out of this world. You could walk past this little gold mine a thousand times without knowing it was there but on entering through the doors you will be shocked. The food is not in-expensive without jepordising the qualiity.

I went to the restaurant and I have to say, Nothing special from the outside but amazingly beautiful from the inside. The staff are very welcoming but all the staff are only males. not that thats a problem, just a comment.

Very nice surroundings, candles, dimm lighting, nice big mirror on one of the walls, seems like the restaurant is massive. Food was very nice and at reasonable prices. I wouldnt have know that a lovely and elegant place like that was hiding there unless a friend would not of recommended it. I surely will be recommending it to others and will be visiting again for sure.

I visited Foxes in South Woodford, and had an alround fantastic evening and dining experience. My partner took me for Master Chef, Bernhardt Siverson's cooking, and I wasn't disappointed.

From the outside it was hard to see in...but when we went inside it was stunning - lots of blue and red candles, good music, a welcoming hostess and cool bar with an excellent (and not expensive) cocktail menu. The ambience was stylish, buzzy and friendly.

We were shown to a really nice table and seated (very nice) and a waiter brought our drinks to us. The scallops on spinach followed by grilled salmon was delicious and my partner thoroughly enjoyed crab cakes and one of the best fillet steaks he's ever had.

Live music was first class and as was the service. After our meal we had "properly" made coffee and had some more drinks at the bar. On the whole we were very well looked after. Bernhardt Siverson's kitchen skills are to be recommended and we weren't rushed at all. The price of the meal was very reasonable, especially considering the fine quality of food. We drank a good bottle of house wine for under £10 and really we could have eaten as inexpensively as we'd liked. It's good to have such a West End type eatery/venue on our East End/Essex doorstep.

I visited Foxes recently and had high expectations the presentation of the restaurant fron the outside was pleasing and I was not disapointed upon entering. Unfourtantly some of my friends were running late but as it wasnot busy we decided to wait at the table for them beofre ordering food, as we sat quaffing our drinks the (assumed) manager became uneasy and upone arrival of our friends rushed over to take our orders before they had even sat down, upone requesting for more time he stormed off in a huff and refused to attend to our table for the rest of the evening.

I visited Foxes recently and had high expectations, the presentation of the restaurant from the outside was pleasing and I was not disappointed upon entering.

Unfortunately some of my friends were running late but as it was not busy we decided to wait at the table for them before ordering food, as we sat quaffing our drinks the (assumed) manager became uneasy and upon arrival of our friends rushed over to take our orders before they had even sat down, upon requesting for more time he stormed off in a huff and refused to attend to our table for the rest of the evening.

I was however not disappointed with the rest of the staff or the food, the entertainment however was a little annoying - when eating I do not expect a singer to walk up to the table and start sing down my ear.

Overall I was impressed with the food all be it a little pricey and the service was good except for one individual.

So would I go again - Maybe!
