The Imperial is an outstanding restaurant; excellent food, service and atmosphere. I highly recommend this restaurant as the best in the north east!

The imperial is by far the best restaurant I have ever been to. I have tried many of the chinese restaurants in china town and this is easily better. The food is fantastic, the staff are great and they never rush you out, you can take as long as you want. Cannot recommend this place enough.

I visited the Imperial in April for the first time and loved it that much i intend on returning for my birthday meal in 3 weeks time. Excellent Food, price and waiting service. Highly recommended!.

My friends and I have eaten at the imperial restaurant on many occasions. Each visit has not disappointed us with the excellent food, service and surroundings. I recommend the banquet, although we are often so full on the appetisers that we can barely manage the main courses. This isn't a problem as the staff will kindly box up the leftovers so that you can take them home to enjoy!

I have tried most of the Restaurants in Newcastle's China Town, they are all very very good, for over the past 3 - 4 years I have been a regular at The Imperial Restaurant, Lowfell, Gateshead......The menu prices, service and surroundings are on par if not better than any Restaurant in Newcastle's China Town........give it a go.....you will not be dissapointed.
