What a great place, food was fast but not too fast that we felt we were being pushed out. I had fish which was perfectly cooked and my partner had the lamb shank, it was tender and fell off the bone, the atmosphere is cosy and the staff are fun and friendly but professional. As a local we would definately go back on a regular basis. love it.

I am local to the area of Wandsworth. I choose to go to Konnigans as it is my local restaurant. I have been there on 3 occassions and waited an awful long time for my food to arrive. On the first ocassion I went there, I complained, and I was assured that on my return visit that I would not have to wait. I hate to say it, but I returned twice more! I had some friends over from Cornwall on Saturday, and as we were pushed for time, opted to eat at Konnigans. On entering the restaurant, I asked a very helpful waitress how long the waiting time would be and I was assured everything was fine. However, we waited 1 hour and 45 minutes for our main courses! There were obviously problems, as our waitress told us that the owner came in later on in the evening and closed the kitchen! I would advise anyone eating here to avoid the busy times as these restaurant owners clearly do not know what they are doing! I was so embarrased in front of my friends on Saturday evening. I wish they would sort this restaurant out as it is local to me, and is actually quite a nice restaurant to sit in.

13/9/05 After a recommendation from a colleague, I took a client out for lunch. The garden area was lovely and the music and mood relaxing and warm. The menu is varied which made it quite difficult to choose. They had the standard bistro treats as well as contemporary dishes I had never heard of (cognac sausages??). I eventually went with the chicken fajitas, which were tasty though a bit on the mild side. My client, however, went for the Ribeye and was so pleased with the fayre, he couldn't make room in his mouth to argue with my proposal. Would definitely recommend.

I love this place, good solid food with a varying menu. You can go in for a snack or for a full blown meal for a special occasion, always bustling and busy.
