My first visit - and I will certainly return! Although we had made no reservation, we were seated within minutes and thereafter enjoyed efficient and friendly service coupled with excellent food and wine. I urge you to go!

Consistently my favourite lunch or early evening restaurant. I love the efficient service for friendly regular staff, and the food is always top class. What really tops it off is the fantastic value for money wine list, especially if you like good Burgundy or Claret. I try to go every time I'm in London. Average spend for 2 of us with a very good bottle of wine has worked out around £80 (inc. service); Lunch for 4 of us with a bottle and a half of nice wine was £125 (inc. service). Fixed price menu (£15 for 2 courses) is very good value (but limited to two or three choices).

A wonderful dining experience, the food was fantastic and the setting lively without being intrusive. A beautiful way to get away from it all.
