It is the bestest restaurant ever! I went there for my birthday recently and had the best meal ever. The staff are lovely and the handsome head chef was lovely! My cake was gorgeous and the meal was even better than 5 star!

Ate here last Saturday lunchtime, party of twelve including one 11yr old and one 9yr old.(Wifes 50th. birthday.) All of us had a really good meal, 3 courses for most with not a single problem. Will most certainly visit again.

I went there last night with my wife. Both of us are vegetarians (well Ange eats fish), and there were plenty of veggie options on the menu. Generally the veggie options are much cheaper than the meat options. Ange had asparagus to start, salmon main, and creme brulee. She felt all her dishes were delicious, and I've never seen her so happy with the taste of her food. Myself, I had the soup of the day (asparagus), tagliatelle with tofu and chillis, and chocolate icecream. I felt my soup was very peppery and too hot (temperature), and I think the pasta dish was perhaps not the best to show off their good cooking. The icecream was nice though! Next time, I'll choose differently, and I'm sure will have a more glowing report. As for the restaurant itself, I think it's trying hard to be something really special, but falling at the final hurdle. I'd still say it's the best place I've been in the area though. Service was decent and fast, although the waiters asked me questions 3 times just as I had put food in my mouth, which was mildly embarrassing. We liked the ambiance, although our table was under a very hot light, which made us slightly uncomfortable. We'll be going again for sure.

Wow what can I say? Top class restaurant! Amazing food, atomsphere and staff! Whatever the occasion, birthdays, mother's day or just a night out, Prima Donna's is the best place to be to wine and dine. Try the prawns with tomato and feta to start and the steak with garlic sauce for a main! All the desserts are yummy!

I have eaten here several times. Often taking my managerial staff for lunch, I have only been disappointed by food here once and it appears that it was a fluke. In fact myself and my husband will go their tonight.

I think it was awful. I asked for lobster but I got cod instead I asked for the bill but they said "do you want to look at the desert and coffe menu". They were trying to charge me £82.59 for two items on the menu and the service is very slow . I had to wait 1 hour and 30 mins for my main course trust me do not go there it is awful.

Food is very nice, great atmosphere...however, went there for my 21 birthday and wasn't allowed to blow out the candles on my cake, because they wanted us to buy puddings, in the end my kind uncle offered to pay the amount it would cost for the puddings just so i could cut my cake - very disappointing end to the evening!!

This is one of my favourite restaurants in the London/Kent area. I recently visited to celebrate my 40th birthday, the food was excellent as usual, the atmosphere was brilliant, and the staff were very friendly. Thankyou for making my 40th birthday such a special event, p.s the birthday cake was delicious. My advice to any one reading this review is go and visit Prima Donnas, you won't be disappointed.

Standard and service is still very good but feel that of late it has become rather over-priced - particularly charging for bread!

We really enjoyed our meal and had a fantastic selection of fresh seafood: Lobster, Prawns & Oysters etc... The staff were very helpful and friendly and the restaurant has a great Mediterranean ambience. They also do a set menu 2 courses for £16 which is very good value and I have been told that Saturday lunchtime there is very relaxing and apparently their Sunday lunch menu is very popular so you need to book in advance. Would highly recommend that you visit for yourself.

One of the few restaurants that can cope with my 2 kids, my fussy husband and disabled mum. We love it for coping with all our special needs.

Fantastic restaurant, has all the class of a top inner london restaurant. Good variety of dishes on the menu and excellent service by the staff, very professsional. Quality of food and drink also top class. Best restaurant I have been to outside of London. Highly recommend.

Prima Donnas is my favourite south London Restaurant. It has established itself as a reliable and consistent place for me to take my clients for a business lunch. I have on occasions also visited in the evenings and found the friendly and informal atmosphere very enjoyable. The food is always interesting, very well presented and delicious. I expecially enjoy the fresh fish & seafood - it's out of this world! Go see for yourself, you won't be disappointed.

This is one of my favourite restaurants. Normally you have to book in advance but I would recommend going on a Sat lunchtime where pre-booking shouldn't be necessary. The menu is reasonably priced and there is a diverse selection of food. The evening menu has had some new dishes added to it and the staff are always friendly and helpful. I have recently reccommended a number of friends and organisations there and not one of them has been disappointed. When it first opened it was fairly expensive but the prices have not gone up much in the last 10 years and they have introduced a number of fixed price menus which represent terrific value for money. Go and enjoy!

Has gone downhill since it opened, the menu is now very stale and the service is lacklustre. Expensive.
