Took three vegetarians and one meat-eater to this resataurant the other week and (after getting slightly lost around Sheepcote Street) was very impressed. Manages to be quite upmarket (is 'the local' restaurant for yuppy flats round there) and yet good value. The menu is varied and exciting (my boyfriend's father, the meat-eater was especially taken with his pear and stilton starter, I loved the pates, my boyfriend's main course was the first Thai curry I ever liked, my boyfriend's mum was more interested in the geese wandering around outside... but loved her food too, I think!). Amusing vegetable-themed pictures on the walls, good service and food to die for. Tastes more expensive than it is, but you still get decent sized portions. Will definitely be going back and recommend it - good for veggies, vegans, and adventurous omnivores. It's been a while since I went to the Warehouse cafe, but this place was definitely better.
