The food was good but the service was below par. We were rushed to place our order, the waiter stated that another party was due to arrive. We finished the main course and was left for quite a time which we didn't mind and were then presented with the bill. We were not offered a dessert or coffee. A disappointing first experience.
Great restaurant we are there best customers however they have a new chef which isnt as nice as the other one but still a gr8 resturant all round.
Have eaten here several times and cannot fault. A little gem hidden in the countryside. Rates among the best, if not best Indian in the area. Service faultless.
I live in Harrow which has lots of Indian Restaurants, But the Ali Raj is just amazing and i dont mind driving all the way there to eat because it is worth it.. The Food is incredible, staff are attentive and friendly. It is by far the best Indian Restaurant i have eaten in so far and Im taking some friends there for my Birthday this weekend.
Always friendly. Excellent food. Reasonably priced. Easy parking. By no means our nearest but definitely my favorite! Totally recomended.
Very good food, friendley staff, lovley atmosphere, what else could you want, its the perfect place for a great evening.
Food is very nice and interior of restaurant is very modern and sophisticated. Waiter Rahel is very friendly and welcoming.
We always go to this restaurant the night before flying out of Gatwick. We love Indian food and the prices are very reasonable. Needless to say we wouldn't use this restaurant if there were better ones in the area. I used to live in Crawley and know the local restaurants and this is one of the best.
Bloody fabulous! xx
Great food, great atmosphere, great prices. Well worth the visit.
Geat restaurant, though is a little tricky to locate first time round. The Ali Raj has three things going for it: Great food, attentive/friendly staff, and reasonably priced. If you like Indian and you are in surrey/sussex, it is worth looking up.
