"The Bulldog" was a well known and popular pub in this area before it became a Harvester and it continues to be so. I for one am looking forward to a Christmas visit in a few weeks.

For the most part we try to avoid the busier periods, but if we have been caught we've never had long to hang around. The place is usually clean and tidy and a quiet drink in the compfortable bar serves to pass any wait admirably. The only problem is trying not to overdo the salad and have no room for the excellent main course and deserts!

The turkey still keeps coming to mind as my favourite Harvester meal with the delicious ice cream .... oh never mind the waiting, I'm going back now!!!
