I was very impressed with the service and quality of food here compared to the other chinese in wells the ho ho house which doesn't meet the high standards of orient express. The resturant is one of the best chinese resturants i have ever been. The head waitress Ruby is constantly smiling and her chatty manner is extremely appealing!!

I live in Basingstoke and once went to Wells on holiday, i tried the food once and thought it was great, so i went back just for some food, i live half the country away.

I have tried the other Chinese Takeaway in Wells - Once but keep coming back to the Orient Express. Speedy friendly service, both in the takeaway and the restaurant, with fantastic food, great presentation of food especially in the restaurant. Jade the main waitress upstairs is fab and if you are a regular remembers what you like to drink etc. The only drawback is that the restaurant allows smoking, a shame in such a confined space - otherwise a fab place to get a takeaway or eat out.

This takeaway and restaurant is reasonable value and one of the better take-aways. The restaurant lacks warmth - a bit too box like for me - but the service is excellent. One neat aspect is the glass viewing panel in the downstairs take-away that allows you to watch the food being cooked.

The best Chinese food in Wells (the other Chinese take-away is cheaper, but the food is not so good).
