Oscars is an Italian (Pizza and Pasta) restaurant that I found by accident, whilst looking for a family friendly eatery near the Grand Union Canal.
The food was good and it was reasonable value, although there were the typically high drinks costs (£1.25 for a small glass of lemonade). The pizzas were better than the pasta, which was tasty and well cooked, but lacking in quantity.
It is obviously well appreciated locally because despite visiting midweek the place was packed, and as a result service was slow but cheerful. The only other comment would be that because the place was packed out, the only bit of the music audible was the bass line, which was mildly annoying.
In short a fair value, family restaurant, kid friendly and popular.
